DISEASES CAUSED THROUGH AIR Inhaling air with disease -causing germs can cause infection. An infected person releases germs into the air on sneezing, coughing and spitting. Germ of diseases such as, scarlet fever, measles, mumps, whooping cough, influenza and diphtheria spread through air. They can be expelled from the nose or mouth of the infected person and inhaled by the other.
FOOD AND WATER BORNE DISEASES These are the diseases that are caused due to eating or drinking infected food and water. Some common food and water borne diseases are typhoid, cholera, jaundice, diarrhea, dysentery etc.
